  1. Hey!
First off, I took a gander at your paintings in Night Sky and enjoyed the show.

It's very different to see the paintings in real life as opposed to photos. They are more captivating in person!

Secondly, I don't know what to make of Mr. Black's new blue color. I think I'll look look at him some more and get back to you.

Well, I almost bought this painting, but picked another instead. And I must say, I would still think about getting it. Blue cats are cool.Who knew? I really loved its first incarnation, but I have a thing for visible brushstrokes and thicker paint so I like it now too, since it has more of those brushstrokes.
Now, how do you change settings on a digital camera do increase or decrease resolution? The things go obsolete so quickly, i never bothered to learn all the features.

  5. Oh that's right you did almost choose this one! I forgot.
Digital cameras are all different. Are we surprised?!
Let's see, if you look at the file size settings - the larger the file size, the more detail and higher resolution will be the image. Hope this helps, if not e again & we'll get to the bottom of this!

  6. Hi Suz,
Oh I must remember to drop by Night Sky and drink in your wonderful colors!

And since I've never had anything to sing but praises for your work I don't want you to think I'm insincere. So I'll admit at first glance Mr Black n Blues doesn't appeal to me. But maybe it's because I don't like the thought of a friend having the blues.....

  7. Actually the colors in this one appeal to me less. There are some sort of heavy oranges and reds that don't try very hard to de-intensify sensitively to each other. Maybe that is what you are picking up. Also I think the lighter blues of Mr B don't really fit the real life Mr B. He is just a BLACK CAT & that's all there is to it! But those blues did some things that took the painting into it's own & took the narrative away from Mr. B. Poor Mr. B! He is so mistreated!
    xo!
& let me know what you think fo the paintings in person VS on the net!
